Today I will be reviewing two products by Dr. Dima’s Cosminology.

One is a color corrector AstroGuise and the other is a concealer/corrector AstroBeach. Both are used for undereye circles, but can also be used on the face to hide and correct blemishes or discolorations or for contouring. They have wonderful names:
Kharmic Khameleon AstroKoncealer “hide your dirty lil’imperfections” AstroGuise and Kharmic KhameleonAstro Koncealer “hide your dirty lil’imperfections” AstroBeach.

I have tried lots of correctors for eye circles, most of were are too light, so they offered no coverage at all. After actually giving up on them, I got these two concealers to try, and see if they could work for me.

Said that, I must say I was a little sceptical at first, because on their site they have the most amazing picture ever! It’s of a woman’s eyes; one is bare so you can see her under eyes circles, and on the other side the corrector has been used, and it looks absolutely great!

And you know what? They did work for me.

The correctors come in a nice classy package, with as much as 8g of product!

You know how much is that? That’s so much product, that it will take you lots of time to use it up. And when I say lots, I mean lots, because with them, a tiny amount of products goes a long long way.

I have them in two colors, AstroGuise and AstroBeach.

AstroBeach is meant for light to medium complexions, and it works perfectly on my skin.
AstroGuise can be used by anyone, because it neutralizes color, dark spots, and so on.

The correctors are quite thick, really opaque, but they are easy to blend on the skin. That’s one of the reason, why you don’t need to use lots of the products, to get full coverage.

The correctors have a sponge applicator, which makes them really easy to use on the go:

First, let me show you my under eye circles in all their glory. Now, some of you may say that mine are just too small or not relevant enough, to call them eye circles. But let me prove you wrong. They are always there, they never go away, and I cannot stand the sight of them, because they make me look sick. It’s like a dark shadow that’s constantly there… So yes, they are eye circles.

There are three things in this world that make a woman feel beautiful: Good skin, good skin, and good skin.
Now I’m sure many of you have your own items to add to that list — a great hair day, firm abs, cute shoes — and you’re right. You’re all right. But for today, and for the purpose of this post, we’re going to take my three, and run.

I love Halloween!!! I like coming up with a costume and I LOVE coming up with my makeup whether it be a freaky zombie or a sparkly princess. This year I decided to be Poison Ivy, no not the plant. Poison Ivy is a batman character; she’s a bad guy or girl in this case. I’d also like to mention that I love the Batman movies and cartoons. When I was younger I would watch all the movies and cartoons with my younger brother and we would even make Batman puzzles together. It was loads of fun.

In 1997 Warner Brothers released Batman & Robin the 3^rd installment in their Batman series, the villains were Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy played my Uma Thurman. I based my version of the character on a combination of the cartoon and movie looks. I think it was a success and to my surprise quite of few people knew that I was going for Poison Ivy. Kudos to them!

I only used my Dr. Dima’s Cosminology Minacles clinical mineral coverage to create this look.

I prepped my face with my CosmicRay Shield and Galactic Glove then followed with AstroThena mineral foundation.

I primed my eye with my KharmicKoncealer and then applied AstroMagic eye shadow all over my lid.

I used the eye liner AstroJade to add drama to my look by creating a large arch over my eye brow, I wet my brush removed the excess water and dipped it into my AstroJade compact I was then able to blend the color on my skin and apply as many layers as needed to create the depth that I wanted. It looked as though it was painted on my skin and I dusted just a little of the AstroMagic on top.

I defined the arch with eye liner AstroRain, and then to add a little sullenness to my eyes I applied it under my eyes.

I dusted some AstroBerry on the cheeks and applied AstroFaith to the lips.

I was now all set for a very fun and beautiful Halloween.

Oh and yes those are my Latisse lashes that you see, no j/k the only thing on face not from Cosminology was the green lashes that I found at a Halloween store.

I was very thankful that I was able to create this look with the products I already had and that they were all mineral based. I had a lot on to create the drama I was going for and knowing that they weren’t going to break me out put me at ease. I also easily removed my face with Global Debris Remover, it got me cosmically naked.

MissRo here! I had to title this post with that line, because that is what’s on the bottle for Dr. Dima’s Cosmic Ray Shield SPF36 Your Skin’s Solar Eclipse™. Actually, it specifically says “I worship my skin, not the sun” and you should too!

I have been using this moisturizer since day one when I started using the Cosminology line. I LOVE IT! Funny enough for the past few years I have been using a day cream with either no SPF or only an SPF of 6. I know, I know, it’s not good, but my foundation powder had an SPF of 15 in it so I figure I was good.

The first observation I made was that the SPF was 36. I have to be honest, I was skeptical, because I don’t like using anything that has a high SPF. My next observation was that the cream had a pink-ish hue, I thought that was interesting. I pumped out a little cream in my hand and started to put it on. It had the perfect consistency and it smelled really good. It went on beautifully, felt really good, and my makeup went on flawlessly.

So let’s talk about the ingredients. Micronized Zine Oxide, Tamanu Oil, Aloe Vera, and Beta Carotene.

Micronized Zinc Oxide, is absorbable, non-irritating, non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic. Dr. Dima’s formulation is transparent, not pasty white. It’s even safe for childres! and blocks ionizing UVA/UVB cosmic rays.

Tamanu Oil, is an extract that has various skin benefits from stimulating collagen synthesis to reducing skin redness (unless you’re blushing from too many compliments about how good you look!).

Aloe Vera, is a soothing botanical that relieves sun-exposed skin providing light hydration.

Beta Carotene, is a powerful topical antioxidant to help reduce the effects of sun damage.
